Rockingham Castle Estate

Rockingham Castle Estate includes the historic Rockingham Castle, home to the Watson family for over 450 years.

The village of Rockingham provides homes, employment and over 4,000 acres of farmland and woodland. The Castle and Great Park are major tourist attractions at the heart of a thriving community.

With a local connection spanning nearly five centuries, the family are committed to a development conceived and executed with Corby and its wider community at its heart.

The Great Oakley Estate

The Great Oakley Estate has been owned by one family since 1575 and is embedded deep into the history and fabric of Corby. The Estate is the founding sponsor of The Brooke Weston Trust which now educates over 10,000 young children in 11 schools. The first school, known today as The Brooke Weston Academy, was built on the farm at Great Oakley and opened its doors in 1991.

In addition to education, the Estate has a rich and diverse history in agriculture, and amongst other things, has a dairy herd of over 500 cows which produces milk for Stilton cheese.

It is committed deeply to West Corby and to an exemplar development, which will set the standards by which other developments in the UK are judged.
